Events | Quartet Retreat
As part of the preparation for annual competitions, a weekend retreat is scheduled each February for quartets or chorus members interested in quarteting. Classes and sessions are taught by seasoned regional and international faculty members and cover a variety of skills such as vocal production, blending and stage presence.

Attendees are encouraged to watch as quartets at all skill levels learn new techniques from faculty members.

The 2010 Region 25 Quartet Retreat will be held at the Crowne Plaza Addison in Addison, TX. Laura Pallas will be serving as guest faculty!

In addition to being the Master Director of Santa Monica Chorus, Laura is an accomplished musician, performer and International competitor who specializes in vocal production and technique. She holds an MFA in Vocal Pedagogy and serves on the Sweet Adelines International Faculty. In addition to directing the Santa Monica Chorus, she also directs the award winning men’s Valleyaires Chorus. You may remember her competing at International with her quartet, Naturally..
